Meditation
Stress is the inappropriate response of our body to a demand or threat. It releases stress hormones, causing our heart rate, breathing, cortisol levels and blood pressure to go up which can negatively affect the body and increase existent diseases. Stress can also be positive at times: it can increase memory, achieve our goals and increase motivation but consistent and ongoing chronic spikes of stress hormones can lead too many health problems.
As research shows, Meditation has several benefits such as (but not limited to): improved sleep, stress management, reduce anxiety, increased awareness, and a sense of calmness. Through meditation, the body and mind become relaxed, and the parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated which helps the body to stop releasing stress hormones. Through regular practice, we can learn to manage our stress levels more effectively and learn to relax “on demand”.

Angela's classes are relaxed, friendly and suitable for both beginners and intermediate. Sessions are available in person at Manor Clinic or over Zoom. Meditation Classes
Sessions take place person at Manor Clinic or in the comfort of your home, over zoom. This 45 minute Meditation class will consist of guided meditation practices breathing techniques. Angela has extensive experience in implementing Meditation programmes, workshops and provides one off sessions for large multinationals, in person and on Zoom.
