Terms and Conditions & Cancellation Policy
1. General Terms & Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of acupuncture services by Angela van Veen (trading as "Acupuncture with Angela") to you, the client. By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Practitioner: Services are provided by Angela van Veen, operating as Acupuncture with Angela.

Location: Services will be provided at the location selected at the time of booking (The Walled Garden or Manor Clinic).

Medical Advice: Acupuncture services provided are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment from a GP or medical consultant. We recommend you inform your primary medical professional about your acupuncture treatment.

Patient Consent: All new patients must complete a medical consent form sent via email prior to the first visit. Failure to complete this form may result in the cancellation of your appointment.

Payments: Payment for all appointments is due at the time of booking or on-site, as confirmed during the booking process. We accept card payments.
2. Appointment & Cancellation Policy
This policy is designed to ensure fair allocation of appointment times and compensation for the practitioner's time and overheads.

Appointment Confirmation: Your appointment is confirmed only upon successful booking and receipt of payment (or card details for on-site payment).

Cancellation/Rescheduling Notice: We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a confirmed appointment.

Cancellation Fee (48 Hours+): If you cancel or reschedule with more than 48 hours’ notice, no fee will be charged, and any payment made will be fully refunded or credited to your next appointment.

Late Cancellation Fee (Less than 48 Hours): If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full appointment fee will be charged. This fee compensates for the lost opportunity to offer the slot to another client.

No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without any prior notification (a "No-Show") will result in the full appointment fee being charged.

Late Arrival: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid disruption to subsequent clients. The full appointment fee will still apply.
3. Confidentiality and Data

All patient information, including medical history and treatment records, is held in strict confidence in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Patient records are retained for a minimum period of eight (8) years following the most recent appointment (or until the age of 25, if longer).
